Research & Development Project funded by the Emilia-Romagna Region under the Regional Operational Programme of the European Regional Development Fund (POR FESR) 2014–2020 – Regional Agreements for Business Establishment and Development in implementation of Art. 6 of Regional Law No. 14/2014.
In April 2022, Cooltech S.r.l. signed a Business Establishment and Development Agreement (ARIS) with the Emilia-Romagna Region. The agreement involves the implementation of an investment program centered on an Industrial Research and Experimental Development project, aimed at creating an innovative technological platform to provide a new range of cooling and thermal stabilization systems for semiconductor manufacturing processes in a competitive and efficient way.
Specifically, the “nextGEN – New technological platform for cooling and thermal stabilization systems used in semiconductor manufacturing” project aims to develop digital tools for thermo-fluid dynamic simulation and modeling. The goal is to combine high performance and maximum customization of supplied technologies with competitive costs and reduced development times. Moreover, the technological platform enables advanced performance and innovative surface treatments in the production of heat exchangers.
The R&D project involves a total investment of €2.38 million, supported by a regional grant of €941,121.93.
Through this initiative, the company also aims to create additional employment opportunities in the Emilia-Romagna region.
